Departments:
The Leadership Team oversee various departments in the Church. Each department is lead by a HoD.

Departments
Our departments give practical leadership to all aspects of our Church’s ministry.

Here is a brief description of each department, its aims, and its HOD (head of Department).


Children – Wendy Colpus
Aims to organise and support the work of the Sunday School and Saturday Fun Club in order to make the Good News relevant to our children.


Evangelism – Jenny Ginger
Our “reaching out department” aims to Promote Christ’s name, Believe and trust in God for all our needs, Commit time and prayer. To recognise and remember that from whatever walk of life, we are all Christ’s witnesses. Everyone has a part to play because Christ gave us this commission,” Go out into all the world and preach the Good News”. We cannot hide away inside Church walls, we have to go into our community.


Facilities – Mike Rodwell
Aims to ensure that the present and future activities of our Church are adequately housed in premises and supported by an infrastructure that facilitates, rather than hinders, the overall aims and objectives of the fellowship. Developing our vision for Purley.


Finance – Joanna Walker
Aims to oversee and safeguard the church’s financial resources, whilst ensuring that all financial activities are properly accounted for.


Mission – Daniel Lane
The Mission Dept is committed to bringing God’s blessing to those beyond our community through our prayer, our financial support and our personnel to enrich the lives of others and the life of our church through all such contacts.


Pastoral care – Averil Coleman
Caring for the Church family.


Social Action – Pauline Miller
Aims to demonstrate God’s love in the community by blessing its people in practical ways.


Uniformed Groups – Carol Best
Aims to support the rainbows, brownies, guides, beavers, cubs, scouts and ventures associated with our Church.


Youth – Pam Searle
Aims to bring young people to the knowledge and acceptance of God’s love, and into a relationship with Him. To help build their Christian character, confidence and friendships through their relationship with God the Father and dependence on the Holy Spirit.
