Life can be stressful for the people who work in the local businesses. Having someone to talk to in confidence can make all the difference and so, because we belief that it’s important, the Churches in Purley and Kenley have set up a town chaplaincy
Members of the team visit local shops, offices and businesses and spend time in the town. They are available to talk with anyone, to care and to help. They can always be identified by their purple fleeces and badges.
They are not there to impose our Christian beliefs on anyone but because we believe in a God who cares, we try to do the same. Over the last year the Chaplaincy project has extended it's role with a new six week training course run by associate pastor, Pam Bryan.
Anyone wishing to find out more about the course should contact Pam direct on 020 8668 0422 or click here to email.
