Staff

The church has salaried straff that work acoss three locations, the church itself, the church offices and the Purley Cross information centre.  

Kevin Ahronson - Church Manager

Kevin joined the staff in July 2006, having spent over eight years running a Christian book store for the Wesley Owen group.  Married to Mary, with two grown-up children, Kevin oversees much of the church's communications and administration.  He is responsible for the church website and blog, the Church FaceBook and Twitter groups and the production of various in-house publications, incuding the Purley Week .  He designs many of the church posters and flyers. His interests include photography and video.  He runs the church camera club, Aperture 

Gill Payne - Church Administrator

Gill joined us early in 2002 and has worked to ensure the smooth running of the church ever since. Gill looks after much of the church's administrative functions as well as performing a valuable role as assistant church treasurer.

Paul Lane - Caretaker/Premises Manager

Paul Lane brings a diverse range of skills to the important role of Caretaker & Premises Manager.  Joining us in 2008, Paul comes from a banking background, but it is his hands-on practical skills that are so important to the church.

Joshua Mansour - Cleaner

Joshua Mansour recently joined us when his mother retired as church cleaner.  He looks after the church, the offices, the Ice Cube and the Purley Cross Centre  

Wendy Nodding - Purley Cross Centre Manager

Wendy joined us as Manager of the Purley Cross Centre back in April 2002.  Married to Peter, our senior minister, and the mother of two grown-up children, Catherine and Jonathan, she is responsible for managing the development of the Centre.  In her leisure time she enjoys walking, reading and being active.
