What is Knitwits?
Knitwits is for those who like to knit, to natter and to drink coffee. The group meets every Monday morning in the Transept from 9.30 - 11.30am.
Who is it for?
Anyone who likes to knit or would like to learn how to knit. We have taken on complete novices to the experienced. Don't know how to knit? We'll show you. We'll even lend you kitting needles, wool and patterns to begin with. Open to church members and non-church members.
Describe the activities
What do we do? Well, we sit a lot, we talk a lot and we drink lots of coffee!! We will knit anything, and you can knit anything too - either for yourself, for friends and family or for charity. One of the added benefits of the group is that we all become such good friends.
Are there any kind of Special Events?
We normally have end of season and Christmas meals together.
What cost is involved?
Just £1 a week, refreshments included.
